Congratulations on a great jubilee: KOLPING Lithuania was celebrating its 30th anniversary in mid-October.
General Praeses Msgr. Christoph Huber and representatives of the diocesan board of Kolping Trier were present at the festivities of the Eastern European association to honor 30 proud years of partnership. Partners from KOLPING Switzerland and the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation as well as numerous other guests from the church and the association attended to celebrate with the Baltic Kolping brothers and sisters.
General Praeses Huber used his visit to learn more about KOLPING Lithuania’s education projects. “Kolping Lithuania has existed for thirty years and has gone through various stages of development,” said Msgr. Christoph Huber. “Today there are Kolping Families in this country who take care of social interactions in towns and villages, an academy dedicated to the vocational training of young people and very recently a kindergarten and an elementary school, which takes care of the children with a modern pedagogy.
